I read around 150 books a year in print, ebook, and audio format. I’ve been reviewing ARCs for NetGalley and BookishFirst for almost a year now and loving it.

I read primarily Fantasy/Sci-fi (adult and YA), bonus points for LGBT+ characters and themes. I also read contemporary LGBT+ romance and historical romance.

Rating Scale

5 Stars – I unconditionally loved this! A new favorite that I would 100% read again. I want everyone to read it! I will be recommending this to everyone. I probably highlighted at least a dozen quotes - and sometimes much more.

4 Stars – This was really good but there are a few things that bugged me or just didn't sit right with me. Would still recommend!

3 Star – This was okay and had some good parts and I probably enjoyed it. However, is lacking in some areas and I would recommend to certain people but not everyone.

2 Stars – I’m not really a fan. There may be some good parts but overall it was lacking. I might recommend it if it reminds me of other popular books in style or content but otherwise nah.

1 Star – DNF and wouldn't recommend. Most likely the writing style made me cringe and I couldn't bring myself to continue it.
